Classy-As-Fuck Wardrobe (Almost) Complete
So I went shopping again today, and combined with the clothes from Tuesday (plus only a small handful of pieces I already own), I am confident I can go to Chicago lookin’ classy as hell. All of these things have multiple matches; nothing only goes in one outfit.
Jackets/Blazers/Coats
-Black blazer
-White (sorta) blazer (I *think* it counts, it’s slightly less dressy than the black one)
-Dark purple corduroy blazer (more of a Fridays/weekends than office; already owned)
-Blue trench coat
-Black waterproof super warm wintery snow coat (Christmas gift last year; undecided if classy or not but definitely necessary for Chicago)
Tops
-3 long-sleeve fitted button-up shirts (dark purple, maroon, grey/white/black thing vertical stripe)
-3 blouse-y type things (all short-sleeve, 1 silver, 1 brightish blue, 1 white wrap-style with small black polka-dots)
-5 nice tank tops to wear under wrap shirt/jackets/etc, thus expanding the number of outfits many-fold (white, black, blue, maroon, yellow)
Skirts
-A-line skirt (super gorgeous darker grey; all the other skirts were already owned)
-Pencil Skirt (black pinstripe)
-3 sarongs/”wrap skirts) (blue w/ silver[full-length], black w/ gold [full-length], maroon with crazy mutlicolored pattern [knee-length])
Pants
-3 solid black (2 full-length [one already owned], 1 crop)
-full-length incredibly subtle black-on-black snakeskin (already owned)
-1 solid grey
-2 pinstripe grey (1 full-length with bright whitish pinstripes [already owned], 1 crop with subtle pinstripes)
-blackishgreyish and white vertical stripe (crop)
-khaki full-length (totally doesn’t flow with the rest of my wardrobe but I got them for free a few months ago and I love them, plus they look good with blue and maroon and black, and they dress down really really well)
Shoes
-1 pair low chunky-heel roundishsquarish toe black
Etc
-black vest
-black shoulder shrug/sweatery thing that I don’t REALLY like but will come in tons of handy during the summer
Still missing
-black flats (to wear with skirts - I’d say sandals, but then I’d need separate winter shoes…but then, if I want to wear skirts in the winter I’ll have to wear leggings which won’t look good with flats or my current shoes…….)
-black boots?
-another blouse-type top, maybe two. Maybe long-sleeve/three-quarter length
-something else to layer over tank-tops; maybe two things
-maybe a raincoat layer (I have one, undecided on whether it’s good enough)
-a dress I can wear to work (bought a really nice maroon dress today but maybe too boobagy for work…it’ll be nice for dinner dates or something though…all my other dresses just aren’t quite right)
